NOW HIRING CHEFS
Hi, I’m Chef V, based in the high desert’s Joshua Tree area. Some of you may have already heard of me. I have started a new business and I invite you to join us!
WHAT YOU’LL ENJOY
Job Match Services: We find you one-off engagements, ranging from single meals to multi-meal/ multi-day bookings and endeavor to help you build repeat clientele.
Chef Services Representation: Management of every aspect of each job from the client’s initial inquiry through to receipt of their final Payment – excluding creating, that’s all you! You create menus, shop for them, and cook. Not a thing more or less.
We handle all contracts, invoicing, information collection and all direct client-contact until the day you walk onto the job, so you can just chef!
We get to know you, not only managing each chef’s complex work schedules and individual needs, but play to your strengths, understand your personalities, values, interests, and tastes.
We direct you to and keep track of necessary permits and insurances to keep you free and clear of any potential legal or health department woes.
You will not be an employee. You are a contractor responsible for your own taxes. However, we'll make it easy for you, providing you with tools to track your job income and details with us.
You keep 100% of your tips – unless you’ve booked an assistant on the day of the job, in which case, you should split it with them at your discretion.
As your agency, we are here for you to talk, help solve problems or just jam on ideas – we are chefs too
WHAT WE’LL EXPECT
Politeness, and positivity!
Great chef skills! All ‘round or specialized, we probably have a client match for you.
We find and manage jobs and take 20% for our services. Any work you find for yourself and book, is outside of our scope of representation and therefore exempt from our commission. However, if you prefer how smoothly we run things and don’t want to deal with the backend, you can send the client to us, and we’ll handle it all for you, for a reduced commission of 15%.
Compliance with our contracts, management terms, and code of conduct.
Understanding and observing house rules in relation to scheduling, availability and communication.
A commitment to acquiring and keeping permits and insurances up to date.
American citizenship or correctly documented alien for 10-99 work.
A current Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle.
